Service Description

Nerikomi Workshop with Katie Thrash Level: Beginners and beyond ages 17+ Schedule: 9am-11 Working with clay 11:30-11:50 Break for snacks 11:50-1pm Finish pots Learn the art of Nerikomi! All materials provided. We will cover adding color to clay, creating a nerikomi block in several styles and making up to 3 dishes. Each person will have 4 different shades of clay (5 pounds) and their choice of hump molds. We will also cover marbling and the Skinner Blend. The studio will fire and glaze your works in clear glaze. Please allow 2-3 weeks for work to be fired. Japanese donuts and green tea provided :) All tools and materials provided.

Cancellation Policy

Try-It Classes: Due to limited seating, you must cancel at least 72 hours before a scheduled class. You may only cancel by email, as it is the best way to ensure we are reached. We do not accept cancelations via our voicemail. If you cancel 72+ hours prior to your class you will receive a refund. If you do not cancel prior to the 72 hours, you will lose the payment for the class. The owner has the only right to be flexible here. 6-Week Sessions: You can cancel up to 3 weeks prior to your class start date and receive a full refund, but no transfers are allowed. If you cancel your class after the 3 week timeframe we do not issue refunds or transfers. All classes: Due to the impact of Covid-19 on our business, we cannot provide any refunds or credits if you can no longer attend a 6 week class that has already started. Thank you for your support.
